Highlights

Saturday, June 25th: Crossroads of MidAmerica Tournament Championship
Channahon Greenscape 8, Troy Arrow Physicians 5
Another Epic Battle between the top 2 teams in the Crossroads Division came down to the last inning. Both teams played a tremendous game! Aaron Gregorich started for Greenscape giving up 4 runs keeping his team in the game. Jordan Gregorich pitched the last 4 innings holding Troy to only 1 run and 3 hits with 5 k's. Channahon trailed 5-3 in the 7th sparked by Josh Garcia's leadoff single. Greenscape scored 5 in the 7th to pull off the come from behind victory. Konnor Reagan hit a 2-run Home Run over the Center Field fence in the first for Greenscape. Jake Garcia and Dakota Risley each had 2 singles and 2 RBI's. Ryan Sartori also had 2 hits and a diving catch at First Base in the 5th. Aaron Gregorich singled in the 7th and drove in the go ahead run. Jack Jessen also singled. For Arrow Kendall Engler was brilliant throwing 6 2/3 innings with 9 k's. Engler also singled and drove in a run. Arrow was led by Mitch Miller (single, double) and Anthony Diaz (2 singles, RBI). Cory Johnson, Craig Galicia, and Omar Adbelhadi also singled. Congrats to both teams on a great season! Arrow finishes at 25-2, Greenscape ended with a 25-3-1 record. The teams split 4 games against each other during the season.

Friday, June 24th: Crossroads of MidAmerica Tournament Semi-Finals
Channahon Greenscape 13, St. Joe's Cemeno's 3
A dominant pitching performance and solid hitting moves Greenscape into the Championship game on Saturday. Dakota Risley struck out 12 in 4 and 2/3 innings giving up only 4 hits. Greenscape's offense was led by Josh Garcia's 3 doubles and 3 RBI's. Aaron Gregorich had 2 doubles (RBI), Jordan Gregorich & Jack Jessen each had 2 hits and each drove in a run. Cemeno's was led by Matt Giadrone who threw 3 innings (3 k's) and had 2 singles. Henry Linehan and Coby Marchio also pitched. Eddie Visnevac & Colby Marchio had the other 2 hits for Cemeno's. Cemeno's will play Troy Sports Huddle in the consolation game on Saturday.

Wednesday, June 22nd: Crossroads of MidAmerica Tournament
Channahon Greenscape 5, Troy Garbin Insurance 3
A well pitched game by both teams. Aaron Gregorich shut out Garbin Insurance allowing 1 hit over 5 innings with 9 k's. Greenscape hit 6 doubles (2 by Josh Garcia) Jordan Gregorich, Aaron Gregorich, & Jake Garcia each had a double and an RBI. Austin Stock also doubled. Konnor Reagan had 2 singles (RBI). Also pitching for Channahon was Josh Garcia (1 k) & Jordan Gregorich (2 k's). Jake McCullom started for Troy fanning 8 in 4 innings. Cameron Bonner had 4 k's in 2 innings. Garbin Insurance was led by Jake Humphrey 2 singles, Jake McCullom had a double, Jacob Wilson had a single and RBI.
