Highlights

Tuesday, June 26th: DuPage River Pony All Conference Games
1st Game: North 8, South 1
A.J. Branchaw lead off the game with a infield single & Tommy Halinski followed with a two run homer & the North never looked back. The South scored one run in the bottom of the 1st on hits by Nick Christopher & Cole Thompson. In the the 5th inning the North scored another run on a single by Jake Snider. In the top of the 7th inning the North added 5 more runs on singles by Matt Taller, Nick Vella, & Deiondre Taylor, with the big hit a bases loaded triple by Griffin McGuire. Demintra Delgado pitched the first & second innings giving up one run & striking out 4. Matt Taller pitched the last 5 innings giving up no runs striking out 5 & allowing four singles.

2nd Game: South 5, North 2
Cole Thompson pitched 4 shutout innings striking out three & allowing 4 hits. Two doubles by Tommy Halinski. In the top of the 1st inning the South scored one run on singles by Cristian Sanchez, Cole Thompson, & Jonathan Vesper. In the second inning the South scored 3 more runs on a double by Cristian Sanchez & a single by Josh Tesch. & another run in the fifth inning on a single by Julian Ornelas. The North scored two runs in the bottom of the 5th on a single by Michael Gruben & a double by Matt Taller. Deiondre Taylor made 3 outstanding catches in center field. Julian Ornelas pitched the last 3 innings for the South giving up two runs & allowing three hits, & striking out three. Mike Bautista pitched the last two innings for the North giving up on no runs & two hits & striking out one.

Saturday, June 25th: DuPage River Pony Conference Tournament Championship
Minooka C Thompson 9, Whiteford Shorewood Home & Auto 1
Miguel RUiz was the winning pitcher striking out 8 & giving up 4 hits. For Minooka Cole Thompson doubled & Tyler Thompson had two hits. For Whiteford Brendan Wilczowski, Josh Tesh, Nick Christopher, & Matt Bunetta had singles. The Tournament MVP was Miguel Ruiz form Minooka C Thompson. Ruiz pitched ten innings in the tournament giving up one run.

Saturday, June 25th: DuPage River Pony Conference Tournament 3rd Place Game
Crest Hill Sports Huddle I 4, Troy Cutting Edge 0
David Schrage was the winning pitcher throwing the shutout giving up 3 hits. For Crest Hill Andrew Garcia singled & doubled, Deiondre Taylor had two hits, & Schrage doubled. For Troy Marcos Franchini doubled.

Friday, June 24th: DuPage River Pony Conference Tournament Semi-Finals
Whiteford Shorewood Home & Auto 7, Crest Hill Sports Huddle I 3
Whiteford rallied from being down 3 to 0 in the 7th inning scoring 7 runs on 3 Crest Hill errors two walks & one hit batter & a single & double by Matt Bunetta & a single Julain Ornlas. Josh Tesh was the winning pitcher. For Crest Hill A. J. Branchaw had two hits & Andrew Garcia singled & doubled.

Minooka C Thompson 2 Troy Cutting Edge 0
Miguel Ruiz was the winning pitcher, Ruiz singled & doubled, Luke White, Mitch Morris, & Cole Thompson each doubled. For Troy Cody Bresahan had two hits.

Thursday, June 23rd: DuPage River Pony Conference Tournament
Crest Hill Sports Huddle I 3, Whiteford Tezaks 1
Mike Bautista was the winning pitcher throwing a three hitter & giving up one unearned run. Demictroic Delgado doubled, & Nick Vella had two hits. For Whiteford Mike Fuller pitched outstanding giving up 5 hits & the defense turned two infield double plays. In the Semi-Finals Whiteford Shorewood Home & Auto Vs. Crest Hill Sports Huddle I at 5:30pm & Troy Cutting Edge Vs. Minooka C Thompson at 8:00pm.

Wednesday, June 22nd: DuPage River Pony Conference Tournament
Troy Cutting Edge 4, Channahon Ken Woddy Sports 2
Nick LaPage & Jake Snider combined to pitch for the win. Marchos Franchi, Asa Sprunger, & LaPage all had two hits. For Channahon Jacob Doster had two hits.

Minooka C Thompson 11, St. Joes 1
Ryan Pullara & Austin Thompson combined to pitch for the win. Miguel Ruiz singled & doubled, Luke White had 3 hits,, & Pullara tripled.

Tuesday, June 21st: DuPage River Pony Conference Tournament
Whiteford Shorewood Home & Auto 5, Crest Hill Sports Huddle II 2
Zach Pirc & Josh Tesh combined to pitch for the win. Tesh homered, Matt Bunetta doubled, & Tommy Purcell triped. For Crest Hill Tommy Halinski homered.

Sunday, June 19th: DuPage River Pony Conference Tournament
Crest Hill Sports Huddle II 10, Crest Hill Sports Huddle III 0
Tyler DelRose, Mitchell Kripple, & Tommy Halinski combined to pitch the shutout. Tommy Halinski & Tyler DelRose each had two hits, & Jacob Elliott double. For Crest Hill III Kyle Sarnecke & Tyler Nunn each doubled.

Whiteford Tezak 9, Ingalls Park Cryer & Olson 8
Terry Young & Joey Bavilagua each homered. Matt Alexander & Cameron Cercone each had two hits. For Ingalls Jontel McNair doubled.

Channahon Ken Woody's 2, Channahon Murphy & Spine 1
Tyler Fitzgerald was the winning pitcher striking out 14 & had two hits. Losing pitcher Jake Price struck out 7 & threw a 3 hitter.

In a ten inning game, St. Joes 14, Minooka Car Care Collision 13
In relief Griffin McGuire was the winning pitcher striking out 7 in 3 & 2/3 innings. For St. Joes Michael Gruben had 3 doubles, Vince Kos singled & doubled, Jack Turk drove in the winning run. For Minooka Justin Wolz had two hits including a base loaded two out double tying the game at 13 & sending the game into extra innings. Joe Marco had two singles & a double Trevor Turnell singled & tripled.
