In a battle to clinch 3rd place Ace Builders pounds out 15 hits and pulls out the win. Leading for Ace was Nick Lappin going 4-4, Austin Markee 3-4 and Mack Tyrell and Matt Holmes both went 2-3. Also adding hits were Casey Klover, Sal Cesario, Griffen Shaw and Austin Day. Pitching a great game were Nick Lappin(3IP, 5K's), Mack Tyrell (1IP, 1K) and Austin Markee(2IP, 5K's). The entire team also contributed to very big defensive plays. Hitting for Camz were Dylan Peterson 2-2 with a double, Brian Krippel 2-2, Dylan Fisher 2-2 and Evan Franz 2-3. In one of the lowest scoring games of the season, it was Ranch that came out with the win. Both teams defences played a great game, VonHolten's cathers threw out 4 base runners, while Ranch's infielders made great run saving plays. For Ranch it was Sean Walsh and Andrew Mysliwiec with two hits, Joey Parisi had a nice double and Nate Allen singled. For VonHolten, Brennan Geers, Kole Vaught and Josh French had hits. Pitching for Ranch was Allen, Mysliwiec and Shane O'Brien. For VonHolten, Brandon Keyster, Vaught, T.J. Heafey and Brooke Brodzinski were on the mound. Good luck to both teams in the playoffs.

The Big Red Machine pulled out another close one. Led by Dylan Peterson and Brian Krippel each going 2-2 with a Home Run and a Triple bach to back. Both also pitched well. Dylan Fisher and Nate Drancik also added hits. C&R was led by Mike Grabowski 3-3, Julian Fernandez, Gino Cioni, and Jared Butts also added 2 hits each.

Leading the way at the plate for Ranch was Nate Allen and Seth Joder both with 2 singles; Sean Walsh had a triple; Shane O'Brien had a double; Anthony Sartori and Andrew Mysliwiec added a single each. For Integrity, Carson Heglund crushed a triple. On the mound for Ranch was Allen, Mysliwiec and O'Brien, backed up by some great defensive plays in the field. For Integrity, Fernando Rizo Jr., Zach Hise and Heglund were on the mound.

Ace Builders was on fire tonight pounding out 18 hits in 4 innings. Leading the way for Ace was Austin Markee 4-4 with a triple and Matt Holmes 4-4 with a double. Both going 3-4 was Mack Tyrell with a double and Nick Lappin. Also adding hits were Griffen Shaw 2-3 with a double, Austin Day with a triple and Casey Klover with a double. The Big Red Machine jumped back into the win column with a well played game in extreme heat. Leading the Machine was Dylan Peterson 2-3 (double) 3IP 7 K's, Brian Krippel 2-3 (triple) 2IP 4 K's, and Nate Drancik 1-3 1IP 3 K's. Integrity was led by Zach Hise 3-3 (double) 2IP 5 K's, Fernando Rizo 1-3 3IP 6 K's, and Carson Heglund 2-3 (triple) 1IP 2 K's. Also hitting for Integrity were Josh Ensing, and Keegan Jackson.

C&R crushed the ball today led by Cooper Maskel with 3 hits. Also with hits for C&R were Gino Capecci, Jared Scott, Grabowski with 2 each, and Jared Butts Julian Fernandez, Gino Cioni, Spencer Shay, and Nick Jordan with a hit each. Leadig Pizza was Tim Barys with 2 hits, and Matt Sitar, Collin Shields Ed Wozniak, John Mistro, and Dylan Norton with a hit a piece. On the mound for C&R were Jared Butts, Julian Fernandez, and Mike Grabowski. Pitching for Pizza were Tim Barys, Collin Shields, and Jared Bisbee.

This game was a hot one. Not only did both teams have to deal with the heat, but it was a nail-biter all the way to the end. The lead went back and forth, timely hitting and some great defence kept both teams alive. Then Ace was able to tie it up in the top of the 6th, forcing Ranch to battle back again. This time it was Anthony Sartori who stepped up and rocked a double that scored Luke Talbot for the winning run. For Ranch, Anthony Sartori led the team going 4-4(2 doubles, 2 singles), Andrew Mysliwiec 3-3(3 singles), Shane O'Brien( single, double); Luke Talbot and Seth Joder both added hits. For Ace it was Matt Holmes(2 singles); Mack Tyrell and Sal Cesario had doubles; Austin Markee, Casey Klover and Blake Beckwith added hits. On the mound for Ranch was O'Brien, Sean Walsh and Mysliwiec. For Ace it was Holmes, Nick Lappin, Tyrell and Markee.

Finally, after being rained out twice and waiting three weeks these teams got their chance to finish their game, but no one was going to give up easy. In fact, it took extra innings to find a winner. Then in the bottom of the 7th it was Nate Allen's shot up the middle that scored the winning run for Ranch. At the plate for Ranch it was Shane O'Brien with a triple, single and Nate Allen with 2 singles that led the way, Luke Talbot and Joey Parisi both had singles. For Camz, Nate Drancik crushed a triple, while Dylan Fisher and Michael Darnall both had singles. It was a pitching duel on the mound between the two teams. For Ranch, Nate Allen allowed no hits and struck out 9, over 3 innings, then Andrew Mysliwiec, Shane O'Brien, and Sean Walsh closed it out. For Camz, Dylan Peterson allowed no hits and struck out 8, over 3 innings, then Evan Frantz, Brian Kripple Jr., and Nate Drancik came in to close. A great game played hard by both teams.

The Big Red Machine came up with a strong performance today, led by Brian Krippel 4-4 with a double and a Home Run, 2 runners thrown out at second trying to steal, and 2IP with 5K's. Also coming up big for the Machine were Dylan Peterson 2-3 (double), 3IP 6 K's, Nate Drancik 1-3 1IP 2 K's, Dylan Fisher 2-3 (double), Evan Frantz added a double, and Caiden White hit a screamer up the middle for a single. Both teams struggled at the plate today and after being behind the entire game Ace finally pulled through in the bottom of the 6th to take the win. With bases loaded Matt Holmes hit a bomb to center field and brought in the 2 runs to win the game. Also hitting for Ace was Nick Lappin. Pitching the win were Matt Holmes, Mack Tyrell and Austin Markee. Hitting for Integrity was Jacob Jackson with a double.

In this closely contested, back and forth game both teams struggled early with a difficult strike zone. Von Holten jumped out to an early 7-0 lead, but the Big Red Machine came roaring back to take a 10-7 lead. Von Holten then had a rally of its own to take an 11-10 lead, and finally Camz squeaked out a run in the last inning for the tie. Camz was lead at the plate by Dylan Peterson 3-4 with a triple, Evan Frantz 2-3, Dylan Fisher added a triple and Austin Pruim a single. Jared Scott, Julian Fernandez, and Josiah Morton also had a hit. For Ranch, Nate Allen led the way with 2 hits (HR, triple) and Shane O'Brien (triple), Andrew Mysliwiec, Mason Wood, Luke Talbot, and Seth Joder had a hit. Hitting for Camz were Mike Darnall with a screaming triple to the gap in left center, and Peterson, and Drancik each with a double. C&R was led at the plate by Jared Butts 2-2 with a double, and Jared Scott, Mike Grabowski, and Cooper Maskel each added a hit. Pitching for VonHolten was Heafey (2 innings 5Ks), Keyster (1 inning 1K), Vaught (2 innings 3Ks) and Brodzinski (1 inning 1K). For C&R Auto Julian Fernandez went 2-2, Jared Butts and Cooper Maskel each added 2 hits, Jared Scott, Mike Grabowski, Brandon Morris and Gino Cioni each added hits. Pitching for C&R was Butts, Fernandez and Grabowski.
Ace Builders 12, Camz Communication 9
Well, after several rain outs Ace Builders finally started their season and did it with a win. Leading the way for Ace Builders all going 2-3 were Mack Tyrell(double), Matt Holmes(double), Austin Markee and Griffen Shaw. Adding a single a piece were Nick Lappin, Sal Cesario and Sam Beck. On the mound for Ace were Matt Holmes, Mack Tyrell and Austin Markee. Leading at the plate for Camz was Dylan Peterson 3-3(triple, double). Adding 2 hits each were Brian Krippel & Dylan Fisher and Nate Drancik also added a hit. Nice start to the season Ace Builders and great game by both teams.
Tuesday, April 26th
Camz Communications 8, Pizza 4 U 2
What a great start to the season for the Camz crew. Led by Dylan Peterson 3-3 at the plate with two triples, and 3 perfect innings pitched with 8 K's, Camz took a no-hitter into the 6th where John Zabel broke up the no-no for the Pizza guys and Matt Sitar also added a hit. Also pitching for Camz were Nate Drancik with 1 IP 2 K's, and Brian Krippel with 2 IP 6 K's. Along with Peterson, hitting for Camz were Drancik with a double, and Mike Darnall, Calvin Sabo, and Austin Pruim added singles. Caiden White made a spectacular play at second for Camz as well. Pitching for the Pizza guys were Tim Barys 3 IP 5 K's, Collin Shields, 1 IP 1 K, and Jared Bisbee 1 Ip 1 K. Also for the Pizza guys Aiden Allen threw out a Camz runner at home with an amazing throw from center field. All in all a great start to the regular season. Good luck the rest of the way boys!

Zach Hise, Fernando Rizo and Carson Heglund combined to pitch a two hitter for Integrity. Leading the offense was Hise 3-3 with two triples, Jacob Jackson 3-3, Blake Beckwith 2-3 with a double, Heglund 2-3 with Rizo, Josh Ensing and Alex Binzen adding singles. On the mound for C&R was Jared Butts and Juian Fernandez. Jared Scott and Fernandez had hits. |
