Channahon scored early, leading 3-0 after 1. Channahon pitched a great game, keeping Palos behind until the 6th when a 2 run HR by Palos tied the game. Solid pitching and defensive plays from both teams kept the 7th and 8th innings scoreless. It was a great effort by both teams. Hitting for Channahon were Tim Barys (2-3), Blake Beckwith (2-3), Michael Susnar, Mack Tyrell, and Matt Sitar. On the mound for Channahon were Tyrell, Tyler Peterson, Jared Bisbee, Barys, and Brandon Keyster.

Channahon 8U 6, Palos (Elmosa) 4
The Channahon 8’s got their first win – Happy Mother’s Day! Solid play on both sides of the plate helped the 8’s fight back from a 3-2 deficit after 3 innings, putting 4 runs up in the 5th . Collin Shields got things started in the 5th with a single and ended the game in the 6th with a clutch defensive play after Palos had the bases loaded. Leading the way at the plate for Channahon were Tim Barys (1-3, 3B, 3RBI) and Michael Susnar (2B, 2RBI). Also hitting were Andrew Mysliwiec, Jared Bisbee, and Tyler Peterson. Great pitching came from Mack Tyrell, Bisbee, Susnar, Barys, and Brandon Keyster.

Channahon struggled to get the bats started this game and it was a tough loss. Solid defense kept the game close, but good St. John pitching kept Channahon scoreless. Hitting for Channahon were Tim Barys and Andrew Mysliwiec. Pitching for Channahon were Jared Bisbee, Jared Butts, and Brandon Keyster.

Schererville Red 10, Channahon 8U 8
Channahon came out strong leading 8-1 after three innings, but couldn’t hang on late. After Schererville added 5 in the 5th and 2 more in the 6th, this game went to extra innings. Schererville added 2 more in the 7th and then held the Channahon bats down to take the win. Tim Barys led the way at the plate, going 2-4 (2B, 3RBI). Also hitting for Channahon were Matt Sitar, Blake Beckwith, Michael Susnar, and Andrew Mysliwiec (2RBI). Pitching for Channahon were Barys, Sitar, Susnar, Mack Tyrell, Brandon Keyster, and Jared Bisbee.

Manhattan 25, Channahon 8U 13
The Channahon 8’s struggled on the mound and Manhattan came to play, leaving Channahon down 12-1 after two innings. The Channahon 8’s battled back - trailing by just two runs after the top of the 5th, 15-13. Struggles on the Channahon mound and Manhattan hits continued, leading to 10 more Manhattan runs in the 5th. Hitting for Channahon were Tim Barys (2-3), Blake Beckwith (2-3), Michael Susnar (2-3), and Jared Bisbee (2-3).
