Channahon 15, Frankfort Black 9
The bats exploded today for Channahon with a team total of 20 hits. Leading the way for Channahon were Brooke Brodzinski(4-4,double) and Matt Holmes(3-4). Adding two hits for the team were Ethan Petric(double), Jacob Jackson, Brennan Geers and TJ Heafey. Austin Markee, Brian Krippel, Julian Fernandez, Fernando Rizo and Kole Vaught also added a hit each. Pitching the win were Brooke Brodzinski, Jacob Jackson, Austin Markee and Kole Vaught. Way for every single kid on the team to get a hit for Father's Day.

Channahon 18, Troy Titans 6
Channahon was back on top today pounding out 15 hits in 4 innings. Leading Channahon was Dylan Peterson with a monster "hitting the scoreboard" homerun and a triple. Adding 2 hits each were Hayden Minor(2-2,double), Shane OBrien(2-3,triple), Matt Holmes(2-3), Kole Vaught(2-3) and Fernando Rizo(2-3). Austin Markee, Jacob Jackson and Brian Krippel also added hits. Pitching the win were Julian Fernandez, Dylan Peterson and Fernando Rizo. Way to play ball Channahon!
Sunday, June 6th
Oakforest 3, Channahon 2
Mother Nature was definately not on our side today as Channahon had to "except" their 1st loss in a heartbreaking way. Channahon was down 2-3 going into the bottom of the 6th and pulled from behind to tie the game 3-3. With one out and the winning run in scoring position on 3rd base, a torrential downpour forces the game to be called with an incomplete inning. Due to Pony Baseball rules, the last inning completed is used for the final score (2-3). Leading at the plate for Channahon was Matt Holmes 2-2. Also adding hits were Dylan Peterson(triple), Brooke Brodzinski, Julian Fernandez and Sean Walsh. Way to go Channahon!!!
Sunday, May 23rd
Channahon 12, Frankfort Square 5
There was something else red hot today besides the weather and that was the Channahon 9U travel team. Clearing the bases with an in the park grand slam was Brennan Geers and adding 2 hits was Austin Markee. Fernando Rizo, Ethan Petric, Hayden Minor and Sean Walsh all added a hit each. Pitching the win were Brian Krippel, Dylan Peterson and Ethan Petric. Way to go Channahon, you all deserve a weekend off!

Channahon 15, Lockport 2
Channahon stays on top of their game and remains undefeated with game #5. Having 2 hits each for Channahon were Matt Holmes, Jacob Jackson and Kole Vaught. Also adding hits were Dylan Peterson with a bases loaded triple, Fernando Rizo, Brian Krippel, TJ Heafey and Ethan Petric. Outstanding pitching was done by Brian Krippel and Ethan Petric. Keep up the good work Channahon!

Channahon 16, Frankfort Blue 2
The Channahon travel team did it again with yet another tremendous victory. The bats were alive today with a total of 15 hits. Leading the way for Channahon were Austin Markee 3-3, Julian Fernandez 3-3 and Matt Holmes 2-2. Adding two hits each were Dylan Peterson, Brian Krippel and Brennan Geers. Fernando Rizo also added a hit. The team pulled together and had a ton of outstanding defensive plays including a huge unassisted double play by Kole Vaught. On the mound, with all around strong pitching, were Fernando Rizo, Sean Walsh and Austin Markee. What a great game Channahon, you all made this a special day for your moms!

Channahon 9, Lemont 3
With outstanding teamwork, the Channahon team pulls out win #3 to make them 3-0 for the travel season. Hitting for Channahon were Julian Fernandez 3-3(2 doubles, single) and Brennan Geers 2-2(triple, single). Adding singles for the team were Ethan Petric 2-2, Shane OBrien 2-3, Jacob Jackson, Brian Krippel, Matt Holmes, Sean Walsh, T.J. Heafey and Hayden Minor. On the mound were Brian Krippel, Fernando Rizo, Sean Walsh and Matt Holmes. Way to stay undefeated Channahon!!

Channahon 13, Crest Hill 2
The Channahon clan came together as a strong team to combine outstanding pitching and fielding to pull out a no hitter against Crest Hill. Great batting with a total of 12 hits included, Brennan Geers, triple and double, Dylan Peterson, double and single and Fernando Rizo 2-3. Adding singles for the team were Austin Markee, Jacob Jackson, Brian Krippel, Sean Walsh, T.J. Heafey and Ethan Petric. On the mound for Channahon were Dylan Peterson 2Ks, Brooke Brodzinski 4Ks, Ethan Petric 1K, Brian Krippel 2Ks and Fernando Rizo 2Ks. Way to go Channahon on another win. Good luck next week at home!

Channahon came out strong to start the travel season with a win.
